I have been following Two Birds’ blog for some time already for their Inspiration Monday where every week, they would update their Inspiration Monday page to feature one celebrity style which readers could gather some inspirations from and put together their own rendition of the outfit. All these time, I just couldn’t quite be inspired by these outfits to make it work appropriate enough.
And finally this week this picture of Sara Rue has inspired me!
I am so glad to have been inspired!
This dark lilac dress has been in my wardrobe for a least half a year already and I didn’t know how I could wear it.
The dress came with a elastic thin, ruched detail belt that I felt emphasized my thick waist.
And a cream colour belt just looked a little too bright and clean for this colour.
Who would have imagined that brown actually blends in so nicely with the colour of the dress! (well at least I think it looks good together)
Yippeee!
I am elated that I can finally wear this dress out and even more so that I am finally able to be contribute to Inspiration Monday!
